We Offer Certification Courses to Help Advance Your Career
If you have a dental license number in the state of Tennessee, you are eligible to take one of our certification courses! Each course is taught by one of our experienced dental professionals.
With a passion for teaching, each instructor will ensure that all you receive the knowledge and hands-on experience needed for you to feel confident in your new skill!
All course offered by CADA are approved by the Tennessee Board of Dentistry. For each course taken you will also receive continuing education hours. Seats are limited for each course, so register now to save your spot!

Coronal Polishing for Registered Dental Assistants
Coronal polishing is an additional certification offered to make one more desirable in today’s job market. Coronal polishing is a technique which removes plaque and stains from the coronal surfaces of teeth. We will discuss the objectives, instrument selection, fluoride placement, and instrument sterilization of coronal polishing.
- Course Fee: $250 (Fee is waived for CADA students)
- Course Duration: 14 hours (8 hybrid, 6 in person)
- 14 hours of CE credits
- Must have an RDA License #
- Each student will be responsible for the $15 fee for their certification to be added to their license by the State of Tennessee
Monitoring Nitrous Oxide Courses for Registered Dental Assistants
Nitrous oxide is a commonly used analgesic agent for dental anxiety. As a registered dental assistant with this certification, you are allowed to monitor nitrous oxide, but not administer. Throughout this course you will learn the indications for nitrous oxide use, advantages and disadvantages, proper monitoring technique, and the health hazards and abuse potential of nitrous oxide.
- Course Fee: $125 (Fee is waived for CADA students)
- Course Duration: 5 hours (online only)
- 5 hours of CE credits
- Must have an RDA License #
- Each student will be responsible for the $15 fee for their certification to be added to their license by the State of Tennessee
Sealant Application for Registered Dental Assistants
A dental sealant is a plastic-like coating used to protect difficult to clean occlusal surfaces of the teeth. Sealants are an important component of preventative dentistry. In the course you’ll learn the key concepts and quality practices in placing pit and fissure dental sealants.
- Course Fee: $200 (Fee is waived for CADA students)
- Course Duration: 1 day (6 hours)
- 6 hours of CE credits
- Must have an RDA License #
- Each student will be responsible for the $15 fee for their certification to be added to their license by the State of Tennessee
