Sealant Course
COURSE DESCRIPTION
A dental sealant is a plastic-like coating used to protect difficult to clean occlusal surfaces of the teeth. Sealants are an important component of preventative dentistry. In this course you’ll learn the key concepts and quality practices in placing pit and fissure dental sealants.

COST
$200 for the course.
HOURS
Total hours for the course are 6. There is an online portion that must be completed one week prior to class. After this is completed, the student will attend the in-person portion for clinicals.
EXAMS AND GRADING
Each student will be required to pass an online exam and a clinical exam. A passing grade of 75% must be achieved on both exams.
